He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”. Our desire at HFC is obey this command. One way that we do this is by partnering with ministries and missionaries that share this same vision both locally and throughout the World.
The Johnson Family - Campus Outreach ATL
HFC is blessed to support the work of Mwamba Johnson, who serves as the Area Director for the Atlanta Urban Center (AUC) for Campus Outreach ministry. He along with his wife Nyema are spreading the gospel and making disciples on the college campuses of Morehouse, Spellman, Clark Atlanta and Morris Brown.

HFC is blessed to support the work of Tony and Tracy Boyd. Currently in Birmingham, AL, the Boyds are actively preparing to transition to serve on the Asia Area Team (AAT) based in Penang, Malaysia. Together with their children the Boyds will be working in the region to "equip and mobilize godly and effective church leaders across Asia to reach their own nations and beyond."

HFC is blessed to partner with Birmingham Theological Seminary. Located here in Birmingham, AL, the mission of BTS is to provide "sound Biblical and practical theological training to equip leaders for Christ’s Church." BTS is theologically Reformed, evangelistic in focus and committed to the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture. The seminary strives for academic excellence, through a program of instruction which is practical and useful for effective ministry and maintains relationships with several seminaries overseas and is intentionally engaged in global missions.
Two of our very own are serve as staff and professors at the seminary. Pastor Cockrell serves as the Dir. of the Master of Arts Clinical Program & Clinical Advisor, and Rev. James serves as the V.P. of Academic Affairs. Click here to learn more about BTS.

WorkFaith Birmingham is a Christ-centered initiative designed to help churches join together to address urgent physical & spiritual poverty in the urban areas of Birmingham. WorkFaith Birmingham is an Alabama non-profit corporation that specializes in helping adults in transition develop confidence and life skills to become employable – essentially helping them build a new life through work and faith.
