Project R.E.A.D. M.O.R.E.
is an eight-week Summer Reading Program. Through this project we will promote reading proficiency, teach correct grammar usage, and provide enrichment activities for elementary and middle school students.
The development of strong reading and comprehension skills is an essential part of life. It is our goal to use educational resources, as well as educated teaching professionals and other skilled volunteers to develop these young minds and to offer added preparation for their future.
It is our strong belief that increasing these skills will open the door to more opportunities and life experiences. We will also endeavor to teach an attitude of responsibility, which at times is lacking in our communities, as well as the broader society. It is our hope that each student will leave with a desire to achieve excellence not only in education, but in all that they do in life.
